Meet Nina

Nina Carter is an Emmy Award-winning storyteller and founder of Nina Carter Productions, based in San Diego. A Metro Detroit native, she began her career in Bismarck, North Dakota, as a local news anchor and reporter at the age of 22. Her path quickly accelerated — jumping over 100 markets to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she won an Emmy as a multimedia journalist.

Nina went on to produce and edit for Discovery Communications in Washington, D.C., helped launch a national digital news show that has grown to over a million and a half subscribers, and later worked in agency settings with top professional athletes and brands.

Since 2013, she’s lived and worked in North Dakota, Oklahoma, D.C., Arizona, and now San Diego, California, giving her a unique perspective on uncovering what makes each story, place, and business truly stand out.

Today, Nina blends her journalistic instincts with creative direction to help small businesses and entrepreneurs craft authentic, impactful video content that connects with audiences and delivers results. Her work is — Crafted to Move. Made to Matter.
